Decorating and home repairs in CrawleyCrawley decorator
Jamie and his team decorate homes across Crawley: lounges, bedrooms, stairs and hallways, wallpaper, plus the fiddly jobs like damp, sash windows and sealing.
Armours SOS Home Improvements is a painter and decorator in Crawley run by Jamie, who works alongside a small team. As well as rooms, hallways and wallpaper, Jamie takes on the fiddly jobs: stairs brought back to life, sash windows freed and reglazed, damp treated and then redecorated.
Customers talk about the same things: real care with the preparation, clear communication from start to finish, and a house left "tidy and clean" once the job is done. One customer who had been let down by another decorator said his attention to detail is "spot on".
Lounges, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and whole homes painted to a high standard. Furniture and floors protected, walls and woodwork properly prepared, and every room left clean. Customers who have just moved house have used Jamie to decorate throughout.
Staircases refurbished and hallways redecorated, from spindles and handrails to doors and skirtings. One recent stair refurb was finished in a mid-century style, ready for a carpet runner. The hallway is the first thing visitors see, so the finish matters.
Wallpaper hung neatly with the pattern matched, and bedrooms designed and decorated from scratch. Customers come back to Jamie for further wallpapering projects, and one dad called the design of his daughter's room "absolutely sensational".
Damp treated first, then the room decorated so it looks brand new. Customers say Jamie communicates everything as he goes, so you know what he has found and what he plans to do before the brushes come out.
Sash windows that were sealed shut opened up again, cracked glass replaced and the windows left looking great. Jamie has turned this kind of job around at short notice for customers who needed it done quickly.
Bathrooms, kitchens and woodwork sealed and caulked with clean, consistent lines, plus bathroom work and leak investigations. The kind of detail that makes a room look finished and keeps water where it belongs.
Send Jamie a few photos on WhatsApp and he will come and take a look.

Cleanliness is one of the top topics in his Google reviews. Customers say the team "tidied up after and left the place spotless".
Reviews mention good communication again and again: quick replies, questions answered, and he "keeps you in the loop from start to finish".
Customers say the work was done "incredibly quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality", including last-minute jobs.
We had a stair refurb done with Jamie and it was a fantastic job. I was looking for a mid-century style finish, eventually to be completed with a carpet runner, and him and his colleague delivered. Jamie really cares about the job he undertakes. He is professional, respectful and keeps you in the loop from start to finish. They were both friendly, with excellent attention to detail. Thank you so much for bringing these stairs back to life!
I engaged Armour’s SOS for sealing and caulking work in my bathroom, kitchen and on various woodwork areas. The overall finish is very good, with clean, consistent lines and a careful, methodical approach throughout. The work was completed efficiently and everything was left tidy. He was friendly and responsive, and any small points I raised were addressed promptly and professionally. I also appreciated the guarantee offered on the work. While not the cheapest option, the quality of workmanship and overall professionalism justified the cost. I don’t give 5-star reviews lightly, but I would happily use him again and would recommend him for high-quality sealing and caulking work.
Jamie has done an amazing job in my kitchen and front room that had damp. He has not only treated the damp but decorated to make both rooms look brand new. He is extremely efficient and communicated everything. Thank you so much
Can not thank Jamie enough. Was let down by a decorator and I'm so happy I was. Not only a lovely human being but an incredible painter and decorator. The best work I have ever seen and his attention to detail is spot on. Nothing was a problem and he went above and beyond for us.
We recently used Jamie’s services for our sash windows. It was super last minute and he was nothing but amazing. Turned around quickly, very professional and the windows look great (they were sealed shut and many window cracked) he opened all windows and replaced all glass. Very happy with the service!
The painting job for our living room was a perfect job, very professional and precise. Jamie and his team pay attention to detail, tidied up after and left the place spotless. Would recommend
